THE SCULPTURES
Several recycled carved stones had been used on the hermitage wall. It was a medieval disk-shaped stela from between the 12th and 15th centuries. Next to it is an image of the Virgin and another of Christ crucified, that according to some researchers, could be Romanesque sculptures. Others identify the markings on another stone as the figure of a fish.
Because of its location on the wall most exposed to the inclemency of the weather, its condition has deteriorated considerably, and has now been moved to the interior of the Hermitage.
